Oh boy do I love Home Assistant. I have a large Zigbee network made up of sensors, switches, outlets. I have some Wifi devices, flashed to local only. My goal with my new home was to have it be smart from the get go. I also wanted it to be local, no cloud. Using my Proxmox server I installed the HA VM fresh and built my smart home. From light switches, to power sensors. I have almost everything feeding into HA. All rooms have temp/humidity sensors, thermostats and power sensors(CT Clamps). Using a lot of sensors and data I am able to automate a lot of background functions in a home, like air exchanging, heating and cooling...so so much.
